Markdowns in SAS® High-Performance Markdown Optimization are not as aggressive as desired, due to the narrowing of the inventory pool. This happens when the maximum weekly base forecast of a product geo is less than 0.005.
There is no workaround available to generate more aggressive markdowns in this situation.
